    Ten outstanding high school seniors will be recognized and awarded by local McDonald’s restaurants of Kentuckiana owner/operators and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK) with one-time scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each in a ceremony held at the Greater Louisville Medical Society. Local student receiving a RMHC/scholarship was Abigail Betts from Shelby County High School and plans to attend the University of Louisville.

  • Light for Cornerstone

    In cooperation with Shelby Energy Cooperative, Provision Concepts and volunteers, Cornerstone Christian Academy was able to install much-needed parking lot lights on our campus. Shelby Energy Cooperative workers Gary Warford and Brandon Keaton brought light to campus.

  • Cornerstone student chosen for 2016 Governor’s Scholar program

    Sarah Tipton, a Cornerstone Christian Academy student, was chosen for the 2016 Governor’s Scholar Program. The junior submitted an application and has been selected for this distinguished program. Tiptonis especially excited to have achieved this honor in the footsteps of her brother, Jacob Tipton (2013 GSP).

  • Clear Creek host family Lego night

    Clear Creek hosted a family Lego night on April 14. Students and families worked together to create wheelchairs and machines, build towers and bridges, create habitats, develop phonological awareness and more, all using the same tool: Legos.

  • JROTC leadership

    Cadets from Shelby County High School Marine Corp JROTC participated in a leadership exercise at the Go Ape Adventure at Jefferson Memorial Forest on March 23. The goal was to work on their leadership skills and helping their fellow cadets.
