Rev. Lenny Marr made good on his promise to kiss a cow if the Simpsonville United Methodist Youth could raise $500 for Heifer International, an organization dedicated to helping impoverished areas throughout the world by providing livestock and crops. Kathy, the cow, was brought to the church courtesy of Reese Farms.

Graefenburg United Methodist Church, located on U.S. 60 at Crab Orchard Road, celebrates Easter with its new pastor, Matthew Kimmons, and his wife, Jennifer.

He and Jennifer have already brought the church into the technology world with multimedia technology on Sunday mornings and creating a church blog, www.graefenburgumc.blogspot.com, which also includes a link to the church's Web site and where you can watch his Sunday sermons.
