Police have apprehended two armed men who held up the Starting Gait Chevron station in Simpsonville last Wednesday afternoon.

Gilberto Lara, 20, and Jose Sanchez, 26, both of Eminence, were arrested in Henry County several hours after the robbery, according to Shelby County Sheriff's detective Eric Hettinger.

He added that the pair were arrested after being pulled over in a traffic stop.
