Defense leads Collins past SCHS, 3-0

By Les Abbott

After the Collins volleyball team picked up a win against the cross-town rival Shelby County Rockets 3-0, senior middle blocker Hannah Holland said the Titans were in their own world, focused on their goal to get a victory against the rival Rockets.

“We were in our bag,” Holland said. “It feels really good because it shows we’re the stronger team in town. There’s such a rivalry, and since we lost in the football game but we got the win in volleyball. We had such a good student section to cheer us on.”
