Titans double pleasure behind Cardwell, Wells

Leeara Cardwell and Aaliyah Wells, the Collins girls’ basketball team’s dynamic duo, combined to clobber Simon Kenton on Wednesday night.

Cardwell, a senior guard, and Wells, a junior forward, combined for 44 points in the Titans’ 60-41 victory over the 8th Region rival Pioneers in their first game in the round-robin Oldham County Christmas Tournament.

Wells finished with a double-double, adding 15 rebounds, and a near triple-double. She also finished with six assists.
