With four returning players and a new No. 1 singles player, the boys tennis team looks to improve on 2009's 6-8 record. They also hope to advance beyond the second round of regionals.

Spanish exchange student Antonio Soler Timenez has played tennis since age 8 and was eagerly welcomed by his Rocket teammates. He could make a run at the regional championship.

"The addition of Antonio really helps a lot," Coach Jerry Buchert said. "It gives Nick [Watson] a chance to have a lot of success at the number two spot."
