Post 37 sweeps doubleheaders against Ashland, Owensboro

 The Shelbyville American Legion Post 37 baseball team traveled to Scott County High School over the weekend for a twinbill of doubleheaders with two games against Ashland on Saturday and two more against Owensboro Sunday.

Shelby came out hot, outscoring its opponents 32-7 in the four-game stretch. And the offense continued to get hotter and hotter as the weekend temperatures continued to climb, finally finishing Sunday with a 12-0 win over Owensboro.

Head coach of Shelbyville Matt Buresh was not available for comment.
