Shelby County volleyball beats Collins for first time

Senior setter Caty Hawkins had seven aces and seven assists to lead the Shelby County volleyball team to its first victory over Collins, 25-21, 25-19, Monday night on the Titans' homecourt.

Junior outside hitter Ariana Jones added four kills and sophomore middle blocker Kyndle Pace contributed five digs for Shelby, which had lost its four previous meetings with Collins. 

Senior middle blocker Ashley Williams led the Titans with nine digs and tied for the team-lead with five kills. Senior outside hitter Jackie Hunter added eight digs and five kills, while junior middle blocker Aaliyah Wells contributed five kills.
