Meeting will primarily be end-of-year cleanup

By Glen Jennings

Though the upcoming Shelby County School Board meeting is expected to be short, the board will steal deal with some important end of year housekeeping.

According to Shelby County Schools Public Relations Coordinator Cyndi Skellie, the school board’s meeting on July 11 will be relatively quiet.

“For July, we have a pretty light agenda,” Skellie said. “There’s not a lot going on. We are cleaning up the old school year and getting ready for a new one.”
