-A A +A
By Josh Cook

The outdoor track & field season hasn’t started yet, but the Shelby County boys’ team already is making noise indoors.

The Rockets finished in fourth place in the Class AA portion of this past Saturday’s 52nd annual Mason-Dixon Games at Broadbent Arena in Louisville.

Shelby County won two events to go along with a third-place finish, a fourth, fifth and one sixth to total 38 points. That was just 18 behind champion Central, 11 behind second-place Mercer County and 3.5 behind third-place North Oldham.
