Rain moves event indoors at Collins

The announcement was made early Friday morning to move the 2016 Relay for Life event indoors at Collins High School because of the weather. The teams walked to fight cancer Friday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. with about 200 participants bringing in more than $26,000 for the American Cancer Society. Money will be collected until Aug. 31 and checks can be mailed to The American Cancer Society, 1640 Lyndon Farm Ct, Suite 104, Louisville, KY 40223.
