By Kelly Neumeyer

Kameryn McCann presented her case before the judge, jury and public attendees on behalf of her summer camp client in the Summer Camp vs. Justin Burke case Monday morning in the Shelby County Courthouse.

“Burke fell off of a cliff and became paralyzed while at the camp, and he also suffered with Type 1 diabetes but he failed to tell the camp about his diabetes,” McCann said. “They (the prosecution) are trying to sue the camp, but we’re trying to prove that it’s their fault.”
