The Shelby County girls’ softball team dominated South Oldham in a 7-0 win in the first round of the 8th Region Softball Tournament at the SCHS Athletic Complex Monday.

Haleigh LeCompte and Shauna Gramig came up with triples to lead the scoring. LeCompte’s scored Dee Dee Davis in the first, and Gramig brought Davis and LeCompte in before crossing home herself after a South error.

“We came out aggressive, and we hit the ball hard,” SCHS Coach Kelly Cable said. “We just came out ready to play.”
