Police and court officials warn people to beware

The long running jury duty scam is back and Shelby County Circuit Clerk Lowry Miller says several people have expressed concern.

He wants to reassure them that if anyone receives a phone call saying they are in trouble for missing jury duty is in trouble, the call is not legitimate.

“If you are not already selected and on jury duty, we would not call you,” he said.
