Five thoughts on UK game

Tuesday night was the first time I've been able to watch the UK men's basketball team play, here are a few thoughts:

1. Anthony Davis is an unbelievable talent. He does remind me a former UMass star (and John Calipari-coached) Marcus Camby, but he might be even better (he definitely is at this point in his career). The only thing he needs to do is lose the unibrow.

2. There's no doubt Terrence Jones is a great talent, but he took some bad shots last night and let's face it his judgment isn't always the best (see last Friday morning at about 2:30 a.m.). I'm not sure he won't be the downfall of the team.

3. Add me to the growing list of the Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Fan Club, just as long as he isn't taking outside shots.

4. Marquis Teague is no doubt the key to this team. Without a point guard (and I'm not sure Doron Lamb can be trusted in that role) the Wildcats could be in trouble.

5. For all the talk of this being a deeply-talented UK team, Calipari used a six-man rotation most of the game against Kansas.
