Fielding, Titans finish 2nd in meet at Woodford County

Collins senior Devon Fielding finished second in the boys’ cross-country race at Saturday’s Woodford County Invitational at Woodford County Park in Versailles.

Fielding covered the 5,000-meter course in 17 minutes 9.91 seconds, finishing 19 seconds behind Oldham County’s Tyler Lega, who won in 16:50.78.

Behind Fielding the Titans took second place in the team standings, tallying 81 points. Led by Lega the Colonels took home the team title with 70.

Shelby County finished ninth with 228.
