Parents of future Martha Layne Collins students can learn about the school and ask questions Thursday

By Scotty McDaniel

Parents whose students have been assigned to attend the new Martha Layne Collins High School in August will get their chance Thursday to ask questions.

Collins Principal Anthony Hatchell will provide those answers at a public forum starting at 7 p.m. in the Shelby County High School theater.

"It’s basically an introductory meeting. The reason we scheduled the meeting as we did was we finally know who we are going to have [at Collins], so we can address those students,” Hatchell said.
