Finchville Baptist

November is food collection month to help those in our faith community who are in need. Bring “kid-friendly” foods on Sunday for the Shelby County Backpack Project. Remember that pop-top cans are required. Favorites are tuna, peanut butter, juice boxes, things that require no cooking. You may also want to sponsor a child. The cost is $150 per child to feed 300 children each weekend for one year. The Faith Family Thanksgiving dinner will be Sunday in the Fellowship Hall, after the 11 a.m. worship service. The Fellowship Committee will provide the turkey, bread and drinks. Bring your favorite Thanksgiving dish for everyone to enjoy, and then bring some canned goods to donate to others in need. Bring some of the following canned goods to put in baskets: corn, green beans, carrots, macaroni and cheese, Stove-Top stuffing, cake mixes and frosting. We still need used or new tennis balls for Heritage Elementary. Place them in the white basket in the Assembly Room. The church continues to collect expired/unwanted coupons for the military, used hearing-aid batteries and round plastic tops from mayo jars, soda bottles, shampoo, etc. for an art project at Painted Stone Elementary. The Backpack Project is in need of the following items: Vienna sausages, soup and canned pastas with pop tops; Pop Tarts and cereal bowls, fruit cups, peanut butter crackers, individual packages of chips, rice-crispy treats, puddings. Place them in the basket marked in the Assembly Room.

Grace Assembly of God

Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 a.m. with praise and worship at 10:30 a.m. Children’s church is for 4-to-12-year-olds. A nursery is provided.
