The church will recognize 12 graduating seniors at a special senior recognition day at both worship services. Peace with Justice Special offering will be received on Sunday. The Daniel Plan Study will meet at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday while other classes and activities will meet at 6:30 p.m. Volunteers involved in food preparation for God's Kitchen will meet at 9:45 a.m. at the church. Beginning the first Sunday in June, a combined service will take place with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and worship at 10:30. This schedule will be for the entire months of June and July.

For those who wish to give in ways other than money to the service of God, we have provided a food basket. During the offering, you may come forward and place your offering of canned or boxed food items in the basket. If you wish to be less conspicuous, you may place it in the basket anytime. All food items collected each week shall be given to the Serenity Center on 7th Street. A Place to Sleep is in need of twin, crib and queen size bedding, especially boy. First Presbyterian Church is moving forward with the co-sponsorship of Syrian refugees. We will sign our commitment with Kentucky Refugee Ministries here during the worship service on Sunday. We thank you all for your commitments and interest. Crescent Hill Presbyterian is pledging $1,000 for this sponsorship, and we would like to match that. Make checks payable to First Presbyterian Church and marked for: "Sponsorship of Refugees." Fifth Sunday youth outing will be May 29, the youth and children will gather for Sunday School and fishing.
