Centenary United Methodist

The Italian dinner and variety show will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. tonight in the Fellowship Hall. Chicken alfredo and sides will be served by the students as part of a fundraising effort for camp funding. The variety ministry portion includes the debut of the Kitchen Sinfonietta performing "ala carte" from Beethoven's "Fifth," "Sisters," featuring the White sisters, a synchronized swimming routine, a puppet-participating in "The Laughing Song," and other more serious aspects. The church is a collection site for Edge Outreach Shoes for Water. Donations of new and used shoes create clean drinking water for people in need. Shoes of all types are acceptable – from flip-flops to high heels, from boots to football cleats. FCC also is collecting used hearing-aid batteries, box tops, Campbell’s labels, eyeglasses, plastic bags (Kroger, Walmart, etc.), coupons (current or expired), canceled postage stamps, pop tops from aluminum cans and current magazines for mission projects.
