We only have four more RCIA sessions until Easter when we have 11 people entering, becoming full members of the Catholic Church here at our Annunciation parish. In our diocese we will have 527 people to enter the Catholic Church. This week’s session will be on the "Beatitudes," which means ultimate "happiness". The "Beatitudes" are among Jesus' most fundamental teachings, describing the attitudes and rewards of the blessed. Those who try to find happiness in the pursuit of pleasure, power, wealth, or social standing are often disappointed, but those who practice the Beatitudes find that they lead to beatitude, that is, ultimate and lasting happiness.
