The Operation Team will meet on Monday at 6:30 p.m. Harriet Poynter/Lucile Smith Circle and Redwoods will not meet during the month of July. Lunch Bunch will be meeting at 11 a.m. on Thursday for their monthly trip. They will be going to The Table in Louisville for lunch. The Table is a non-profit restaurant serving homegrown, healthy, organic food for a suggested price. The 2016 Impact Shelby event will take place in a variety of places and dates. The primary date is scheduled for July 30. Information for the Block Party, Blood Drive, Work Projects, Visitation Teams, School Supplies, Christmas Cards, Youth Service, and First Responders Appreciation Baskets will become available soon. The ramp ministry will be constructing ramps in Shelby County and Louisville during the next several months. There are six assessment requests in Shelby County, Mt. Washington and Louisville to be completed.

Orientation for refugee sponsorship will be 6 p.m. Aug. 15 at Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church. This is a must for those who desire to have direct contact with the refugee family we will support. Also a list of items we are collecting for the refugee's apartment is posted on the door between the Assembly Room and Fellowship Hall. If you have anything on this list, write your name by that item on the list or let Doug or Ruth Welch know.
