A man on a motorcycle fired one gunshot at a motorist on Interstate 64 Wednesday afternoon.

Hunter Taylor was driving a black Toyota Celica along I-64 west around 1 p.m. when a motorcycle came up behind his car.

“The [sedan] was trying to get the motorcycle off his rear end,” said Officer Garry Kulman, Simpsonville Police Department. “The driver of the Toyota slammed on his brakes.”

When Taylor applied his brakes rapidly, he waved the biker on and the orange motorcycle moved into another lane then pulled even with the black car.
