Darnell on national academic squad

Twelve Wittenberg University field hockey student-athletes have been recognized for their performance in the classroom by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA). Among those was Emily Darnell, freshman, from Shelbyville. Student-athletes who earned a 3.3 grade point average or better through the first semester of the 2015-16 school year were eligible to receive the honor. Wittenberg concluded the 2015 season with records of 8-11 overall and 8-6 in the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).
