Shelby County’s boys soccer team lost its third consecutive match Tuesday evening, falling to district rival South Oldham High School, 10-0.
The game was called around the 16-minute mark of the second half, when the Dragons scored their 10th goal, and the officials enacted the mercy rule.
“Our inexperience shows all over the field,” SCHS Coach Dale Armistead said. “But, they’re learning, and they’ve never quit. They have played to the final whistle every game.
