The oldest triathlon in Kentucky returned Saturday.
And young, and old, were there to help celebrate it.
The Guist Creek Olympic Triathlon (formerly the Shelbyville Triathlon) went off without a hitch and under nearly perfect weather conditions (high 60s, low 70s at the 8:30 a.m. start).
“Saturday was a gorgeous day for a race,” Race Director Jeremiah Heath said. “Guist Creek Marina is a perfect location to host this, and we are very thankful we were able to be at that location.
