Ironically, Josh Dennison was allergic to grass as a child.
“I had exercise-induced asthma,” Dennison, a senior at Collins, recalled recently.
But he eventually grew out of his allergy and into a heck of a baseball player.
So far this season Dennison is putting up numbers that are nothing to sneeze at, pardon the pun.
Through Wednesday night’s 15-3 victory over cross-town rival Shelby County, he was hitting a rather torrid .511 (24 for 47).
