A blowout, a nail-bitter and a comfortable victory added up for Cornerstone Christian Academy’s third consecutive KCAA JV state title on Saturday.
Using a mixture of pressure defense and high-octane, fast-break offense, the younger Bulldogs left the KCAA challengers in their dust yet again and finished the season with a 12-2 record that included two victories over KHSAA teams.
The comfortable triumph came in the championship, when Cornerstone cruised past Community Christian, 55-31.
