More than 400 athletes came out to Collins High School Thursday in order to showcase their skills in a satellite camp hosted by Western Kentucky University.
The Collins Titans had 14 players compete in the camp, which was attended by recruiters from both WKU and other small colleges around the state.
“It was great for us. I talked to a coach from Western Kentucky and he said this is the biggest camp they’ve ever put on,” said Jerry Lucas, Collins coach. “I guarantee we had over twenty smaller schools as well.”
