Josh Dennison's RBI-single in the bottom of the seventh inning capped Collins' comeback as the Titans won their fourth consecutive game, beating Scott County, 5-4, this past Thursday night at Whitaker Bank Ballpark, the home of the Lexington Legends.
“It was a great high school baseball game,” Collins Coach Roy Bailey said. “We had to use every aspect of the game to pull out the win. It was definitely a complete team effort. We had effective pitching, successful sacrifice bunting, steals, solid defense and timely hits.”
