  • Rockets drop another close one

The Shelby County Rockets came up short again, this week against North Oldham in a 79-77 overtime loss at home Friday.

Boomer Beckley scored 28 points and handed out five assists for the Rockets, but it wasn't enough.

Shelby led 35-29 at halftime, but North clawed back throughout the third and fourth, and had a chance to win in regulation. But what would've been a game-winner was waived off because it was too late.

North Oldham then opened the overtime with back-to-back 3-pointers to take a 72-68 lead that the Mustangs would not relinquish.
