Harley-Davidson Corp. is considering Shelby County as one of three finalists to be the site of a plant it might relocate.
Representatives from the company have visited this area several times and have trimmed a list of states from seven to three as possible new homes for its main plant located in York. Pa., The Sentinel-News has learned.
Harley-Davidson, based in Milwaukee, is America’s most famous brand of motorcycles. Its facility in York consists of two factories that employ about 2,400 people.
