In the latest of several such incidents, a recent drug bust in a rural area of Shelby County yielded heroin and drug paraphernalia, said police.
The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search warrant at 6584 Clarks Station Road on Dec 21, which revealed more than 7 grams of suspected heroin.
Shelby County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Rice said that two adults were charged with trafficking more than two grams of heroin, two counts of wanton endangerment, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police are appealing to the public for help in locating a man discovered peering into windows on Greenland Circle Sunday night.
Kentucky State Police say they responded to a call from a resident at 11:30 p.m. who had confronted the man after spotting him peering into the windows of his home from the back yard. After a struggle with the resident, the man fled in the direction of Brittany Estates, police say.
KSP Pubic Affairs Officer Bernis Napier said that the resident was not injured in the altercation.
Miroslav Kuzmanovic, who was indicted in July for murder and other charges in connection with a fatal accident on I-64, was given a new hearing date in February when he appeared in Shelby Circuit Court Monday.
