    District court

    The following cases were heard by Judge Donna Dutton:

    Trenton R. Hensley, violation of Kentucky E.P.O./D.V.O – guilty – 20-day sentence and $154 costs.

    David A. Linson, third-degree criminal trespassing, two charges of third-degree criminal mischief and carrying a concealed deadly weapon – guilty – 6-month sentence, serve 15 days, balance conditionally discharged for 2 years, restitution and $254 fine and costs.

    The following cases were heard by Judge Linda Armstrong:

    Yovany Martinez, no operator's/moped license and first-offense failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security – pleaded guilty – 30-day sentence conditionally discharged for 2 years and $743 fine and costs.

    William Gordon, fourth-degree domestic violence minor injury and resisting arrest – pleaded guilty – 90-day sentence, serve 20 days, balance conditionally discharged for 2 years and $154 costs.

    DUI

    Kevin E. Cain, 18, of 106 Chambers Lane in Simpsonville was arrested Feb. 25 on Conner Station Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of intoxicants (drugs), reckless driving, not wearing a seatbelt and possession of drug paraphernalia.

     

  • Shelby County Sheriff's Reports April 19, 2013

    DUI

    Derek Garten, 32, of 2967 Waddy Road was arrested Feb. 7 on Waddy Road at the Flying J Truck Stop and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, endangering the welfare of a minor, two counts of terroristic threatening, harassing communications, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree escape and resisting arrest.

    No operator’s license

    Cristian G. Gomez, 27, of an unknown address was arrested Jan. 12 at 7000 Shelbyville Road and charged with no operator’s license, speeding and failure to produce an insurance card.

    Theft

    James Peel, 56, of Zion Hill Road in Englewood, Tenn., was arrested Jan. 4 on I-64 at the rest area and charged with theft by unlawful taking and alcohol intoxication.

    DUI

    Alissa Ulfry, 30, of 1447 La Grange Road was arrested Jan. 9 on Long Run Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs under aggravating circumstances and first-degree wanton endangerment.

     

    Theft

    Jacob C. Browning, 21, of 9737 Mount Eden Road in Waddy was arrested Dec. 30 at 4484 Mount Eden Road and charged with receiving stolen property and third-degree criminal trespass.

    DUI/Traffic

    Karen B. Graham, 54, of 419 Tincher Drive in Versailles was arrested Jan. 27 in I-64 and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.

    Daniel Alvarez-Diaz, 27, of 1627 Alton Road in Lawrenceburg was arrested Jan. 26 on Frankfort Road and charged with no operator’s license, speeding and failure of owner to maintain required insurance, first offense.

  • Shelby County Sheriff’s Reports Jan. 11, 2013

    David Neighbors, 50,  of 95 Raywick Road in St. Mary, Ky., was arrested Dec. 17 at 401 Main St. on Shelby County warrants for theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) and theft by unlawful taking (disposition).

    Tyrone Burden, 23, of 1000 Detention Road was served Dec. 17 at 401 Main St. with a Shelby County warrant for contempt of court (child support).

    Richmond Phillip of 12600 Hiawatha Ave. in Louisville was arrested Dec. 17 at 401 Main St. on a Shelby County warrant for first-degree criminal mischief.
