DUI

Timothy McQuillen, 52, of 1306 Buck Creek Road in Simpsonville was arrested Nov. 4 at U.S. 60 and Old Veechdale Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, driving on a DUI suspended license and careless driving.

District court

The following cases were heard by Judge Donna Dutton:

Bobbie Wayne Brown, second-degree disorderly conduct and alcohol intoxication in a public place – guilty – $393 fine and costs.

Roberto Cortez, first-degree criminal trespassing – guilty – 60-day sentence conditionally discharged for two years and $154 costs.

Amy C. May, six charges of theft by deception – guilty – $183 fine and costs.

Brittney N. Shuck, 24, of 1642 Woodlawn Road was indicted for theft by unlawful taking, complicity.

Zachary Calvert, 22, of 636 10th St. was indicted for second-degree assault.

Stacy Johnson, 27, of 595 Heinsville Road was indicted for attempting to obtain a controlled substance by fraud/false statement, second-degree illegal possession of a controlled substance (hydrocodone), and operating a motor vehicle without an operator’s license.

Police are asking for the public’s help in solving a theft that happened on Oct. 29 at Ferrell’s Heating and Air Conditioning, located in the 6000 block of Frankfort Road, in Clay Village. 

Sheriff’s detectives said they believe this suspect has hit this location once before, and on this occasion

the subject appeared to steal several gallons of gas from multiple vehicles located on the property.  The suspect exited the property towards Franklin County on U.S. 60.
