    Theft-Related

    Donald E. Stark, 22, of 828 Henry Clay Street in Shelbyville was arrested Thursday at 120 Midland Trail and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

    Jerry L. Lancaster, 34, of  406 8th St. in Shelbyville was arrested Wednesday at that address and charged with alcohol intoxication. K. Scott Wright, 27, of 455 Lot No. 41 in Jones Lake in Frankfort was arrested Wednesday at 38 Main St. (Convenient No. 40), and charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument.

    Brian David Cable, 28, of 122 Chautauqua Dr. No. A in Lawrenceburg was arrested Tuesday at Speedway on Midland Trail and charged with fraudulent use of a credit card under $500 within a six-month period.

     Jessica A. Chaney of 219 Ridgewood Dr. in Nicholasville was arrested Tuesday on Doctor's Drive and charged with failure to maintain insurance, first offense, no registration plates, no other state registration and TBUT or disposition-all others and second-degree burglary.

    Ronald E. Paul of Highway 2004 in McKee was arrested Saturday on East Main Street on a contempt-of-court warrant.

    Driving Under the Influence

     Alisa Anderson, 50, of Winter Street in Augusta, Ga. was arrested Sept. 26 on I-64 West at the 29 and ½ mile marker and charged with driving under the influence, third offense, and reckless driving.

  • Cabbie robbed and assaulted

    A cab driver was robbed and assaulted in Shelbyville on Sept. 5 after transporting three male teenagers from Richmond, police say.

    According to a press release from the Shelbyville Police Department, Da'ron Michael Dugle, 18, of Shelbyville, Rashee J. Wardford, 18, of Louisville and a 17-year-old male from Simpsonville are lodged in the Shelby County Detention Center in connection with the incident.

  • Escapee from Frankfort could be in vicinity

    Kentucky State Police Post 12 reports that that an inmate has escaped from the Frankfort Career Development Center, and he could be in Shelby County.

    Travis Hylton, 27, is a white male, 5 feet, 11 inches, 275 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a prison khaki shirt, khaki pants and a white T-shirt.

    He escaped on foot at 11:21 a.m. on Monday while working outside. He fled the area on foot, but he may have been picked up near I-64.

    He could possibly be in a white 1993 Plymouth Acclaim four-door sedan, Kentucky license number 489-GJA.
