  • Shelby County Sheriff Reports Oct. 9, 2013

    DUI

    Ovidio Diaz, 37, of 4010 Lake Jerico Road in Smithfield was arrested Aug. 29 on La Grange Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, reckless driving, no operator's license and possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a vehicle, resisting arrest and second-degree fleeing and evading police in a motor vehicle.

  • Shelby County Sheriff’s Warrants Sept. 6, 2013

    Elvis T. Smith, 28, of 117 Alton Road was arrested July 30 at 401 Main St. on a Shelby County warrant for an unstated charge.

    Robert S. Newton, 33, of 827 Bland Ave. was arrested July 25 at 401 Main St. on Shelby County warrants for driving too slow for traffic conditions and operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license.

    Troy Rosenberry, 21, of the Shelby County Detention Center was served July 25 at that facility with Shelby County warrants for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (heroin) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    DUI

    Rebecca C. Flynn, 30, of 240 Lebanon Ridge Road in Frankfort, was arrested June 27 on I-64 and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license and no registration receipt.

    Thomas L. Hayes Jr., 40, of 580 Hawthorne Ave. was arrested June 8 on Mount Eden Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first offense.

     

    Traffic

     

    Catalino I. Chavez, 36, of unknown address was arrested June 12 on Elmburg road and charged with no operator’s license, failure of non-owner to maintain required insurance, first offense and no registration plates.

    DUI

    Terry L. Hatton, 33, of 974 Trout Lane was arrested May 26 on Frankfort Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs under aggravating circumstances, first offense, third-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid or assistance, failure to produce an insurance card and careless driving.

    Christopher R. Shafer, 37, of 3444 Aiken Road was arrested May 3 on Aiken Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense.

    Gregory W. Newlin, 38, of 1214 Goldfinch Court in Titusville, Fla., was arrested May 5 on Buck Creek Road and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, first offense, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license and improper registration plates.

  • Shelby County Grand Jury Indictments Oct. 30, 2013

    Megan N. Hobson, 29, of 85 Smithfield Road was indicted for theft by deception.

    Lisa D. Downey, 41, of 1172 Barton Lane in Pleasureville was indicted for theft by deception.

    Roberta A. Walls, 22, of 111 Gray Hawk Drive was indicted for third-degree burglary.

    Stefan L. Harris was indicted for being a persistent felony offender.

  • Shelby County Grand Jury Indictments Oct. 9, 2013

    Joshua Wayne Noe, 27, of 1103 Mailback Way in Crestwood was indicted for theft by unlawful taking over $10,000 and third-degree burglary.

    Reginald D. Glenn-Cleveland, 25, of 108 Berea St. was indicted for first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) and first-degree assault.

    Gregory G. Newton, 23, of 414 Sycamore Terrace was indicted for first-degree rape, first-degree sodomy and first-degree unlawful imprisonment.

    Joe Bryant Dixie, 33, of 248 Hillcrest Drive in Eminence was indicted for first-degree attempted robbery of an individual.

    William D. Dial, 26, of 510 Spring St.  was indicted for theft by deception over $500, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument (2 counts), theft by deception under $10,000 and operating on a suspended operator’s license.

    Francis E. Middleton IV, 49, of 600 Henry Clay St. was indicted on 2 counts of receiving stolen property under $10,000.

    Brittany Smith, 23, of the Kentucky Correctional Institute for Women, was indicted for third-degree assault.

  • Shelby County Grand Jury Indictments Aug.7, 2013

    Bobby Bard Whitlock Jr., 38, of 600 Old Frankfort Circle in Lexington was indicted for second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
