In just more than two months, 88 more jobs will be lost in Shelby County.
Buckhorn, Inc., an Akron-Ohio based plastics company that is part of Myers Industries, has announced it will be closing its doors by mid-December.
In a letter to Mayor Tom Hardesty's office on Monday, Buckhorn Plant Manager John Patton said the permanent closing is "due to asset and product line consolidations within its businesses based on strategic goals and purposes."
