    Jamie E. Cottrellgraduated from the University of Kentucky Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor of science in agricultural biotechnology and a minor in animal sciences. She is now in her third year at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. Cottrell is the daughter of Mike and Renee Cottrell of Finchville and granddaughter of Connie Cottrell, Jimmy and Nancy Gibbs and the late Mac Cottrell.

    Ralphael Stone qualified for the dean’s academic honor list at Southwestern Illinois College for the 2014 fall semester. Full-time students who complete 12 or more college-level semester hours during the semester and part-time students who complete six or more college-level semester hours while maintaining a 3.5 or higher grade point average qualify for this honor.

Both discussed the advances of technology at Southside Elementary and how their learning experience is improving because of the engaging things they are getting to do with their learning.

    of Simpsonville, whose major is Biological Sciences, has been named to the dean's list at Clemson University for the fall 2014 semester.

    To be named to the dean's list, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.
