• Cornerstone students tour Washington

    The Cornerstone Christian Academy eighth grade class recently toured Washington D.C., Mt. Vernon, Philadelphia and Gettysburg. Among many stops, highlights of the trip included a behind-the-scenes tour of the Capitol with Congressman Thomas Massie, visit to the Holocaust Museum, the view from 500 foot inside the Washington Monument, wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknowns in Arlington Cemetery and Hershey Theme Park in Pennsylvania.

  • Superheroes at Clear Creek

    Clear Creek kindergarteners and first and second graders joined forces on April 28 to become Academic Superheroes at a Math and Reading night. All were invited to build mental and physical stamina by reading with a real superhero, writing comic books, playing addition and subtraction fluency games and more.

  • Cornerstone student in geography bee

    Cornerstone Christian Academy students participated in the ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) geography bee and all students who participated received either a good or excellent ribbon. Eighth grade students Doug Jessee (from left), Ariel Umholtz and Calvin Lee all advanced to the Top 10 round. Umholtz placed second overall.
