Cornerstone Christian Academy announced that the students’ average composite ACT score for 2015 was 25.1; well-exceeding the State (20.0) and National (21.0) averages. Abby Betts of Shelbyville has been accepted to University of the Cumberlands for the upcoming academic year. She was a graduate of Shelby County High School. Home of the Patriots, University of the Cumberlands offers promising students of all backgrounds a first class education grounded in the liberal arts within a Christian context.

Kara Hollbrook has signed a 1-year contract with Heyman Talent in Louisville.
During her contract, she will audition for local TV commercials, TV shows and movies that are based on the east coast as well as a chance to model for commercial print.
She is a senior at Shelby County High School and is the daughter of Mark and Julia Holbrook.
