  • Cornerstone student chosen for 2016 Governor’s Scholar program

    Sarah Tipton, a Cornerstone Christian Academy student, was chosen for the 2016 Governor’s Scholar Program. The junior submitted an application and has been selected for this distinguished program. Tiptonis especially excited to have achieved this honor in the footsteps of her brother, Jacob Tipton (2013 GSP).

  • Clear Creek host family Lego night

    Clear Creek hosted a family Lego night on April 14. Students and families worked together to create wheelchairs and machines, build towers and bridges, create habitats, develop phonological awareness and more, all using the same tool: Legos.

  • JROTC leadership

    Cadets from Shelby County High School Marine Corp JROTC participated in a leadership exercise at the Go Ape Adventure at Jefferson Memorial Forest on March 23. The goal was to work on their leadership skills and helping their fellow cadets.

  • Scouts attend Merit Badge fair

    Approximately 50 local Boy Scouts and their leaders from Troops 164, 269, 270 and 470 attended a Merit Badge fair April 8-10 at the historic Old Bardstown Village. Being able to earn merit badges as diverse as Citizenship in the Community to Fish and Wildlife, Scouts learn many different and interesting things.   • Cub Scout pack 270 tours businesses

    Janice Hockerof Shelbyville has been named to the dean's list at Ohio Christian University College of Adult and Graduate Studies for the spring 2015 semester. To be eligible for the dean's list, a student must achieve a semester GPA of 3.5 or better and be enrolled in at least 12 graded semester hours.
