  • Ellcessor graduates

    Army Pfc. Andrew L. Ellcessor has graduated from the Infantryman One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. The training consists of Basic Infantry Training and Advanced Individual Training. Ellcessor is the son of Gary Ellcessor of Frankfort Road. The private graduated in the year 2000 from Franklin County High School in Frankfort.

  • Air Force Airman Joshua T. Lee graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

    He completed an intensive, 8-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.

    He is the son of Douglas and Deborah Lee of Old Briar Ridge Road in Mount Eden.

    Lee graduated in 2010 from Spencer County High School in Taylorsville.

  • Craycraft-Aylmer

    Clayton Aylmer and Candace Craycraft, Shelby County High School sweethearts, announce their engagement. She is the daughter of Chester and Sonja Craycraft of Bagdad. He is the son of G.W. and Patti Meade of Shelbyville.

  • Juliet Adair Giordano celebrated her first birthday March 29, 2010.

    She is the daughter of Bethany and Tony Giordano of Georgetown.

    Grandparents are Jim and Sheila Fawbush of Finchville, Rita Giordano of Louisville and Tony Giordano of Casselberry, Fla. Great-grandparent is Hallie Bohannon of Finchville.

  • Ginger Evans and Jay Mitchell were married Oct. 17, 2010, at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort.

    Parents of the bride are Jimmie and Ruth Evans of Mount Eden. The groom is the son of Dick and Debbi Mitchell of Plano, Texas.

    Wedding music was provided by Joanna Hay.

    Judge Kathy Mangeot officiated the double-ring ceremony.

    The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jimmie Evans.

    The maid of honor was Shelley Evans, sister of the bride, of Mount Eden.
