  • School Menus

    Each school will have its own separate menu during the last month of school. Call the Board of Education 633-2375 or check the Web site at shelby.k12.ky.us for school menus. Elementary schools will still have menus available. May 30 will be the last day of school. No school on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day

  • Summer Break activities open to students

    Summer Break does not necessarily mean students have to take a break from learning. Shelby County Public Schools wants students to continue the educational process over the Summer Break so that everyone can return to school August 6 better prepared for continued academic progress. A number of enrichment activities are being offered for all students. Most are free of charge.

  • Winners of Young Authors program will be recognized

    There will be a reception Monday, May 12 at 7 p.m. to recognize county and school winners in the annual Young Authors program. The event at Painted Stone Elementary, 150 Warriors Way, will salute students in grades 1-8 from Shelby County Public Schools and Our Lady of Guadalupe Academy. See the following chart for names with an asterisk signifying the county winners.

    Mealpay/Plus for school meals is improved - The online payment system for parents to access cafeteria accounts is "new and improved," according to Mealpay/Plus program contacts.
