    Silversmiths exhibit

    Shelby County Historical Society will have a traveling exhibit of Shelby County silversmiths. The exhibit is currently showing until Dec. 5 at Commonwealth Bank & Trust in Shelbyville. The exhibit moves to Citizens Union Bank on Midland Trail, where it can be viewed Dec. 5-20. There is no charge to view the exhibit.

    Blood Orchard at Red Orchard
    The annual Blood Orchard event is from 7 to 11 p.m. every Friday and Saturday in October at Red Orchard Park, 704 Kentucky St. The Haunts for Hire group have set up 13 rooms in the lower barn that are designed to frighten those who visit the park. Enjoy a chilling movie on the barn while waiting to enter the barn. Have a picture taken in the electric chair that will be sure to give a jolt of fear. Admission is $10, and the exhibit is not suitable for young children. For more information, call 633-5059.
