    A senior services and program will be today at the Multi-Purpose Senior Center, 207 Washington Street. The center is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Lunch is served at 11:30 each day with various activities scheduled throughout the day for 60 years of age and above to enjoy. To make a reservation, one week in advance, call 502-633-2218.

    A new six-week series of Shelby Shape Ups meets at 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through July 10 at the Shelby County Extension Office. This arthritis foundation approved exercise class helps participants increase strength, improve balance and become more flexible. The class is only $25 for the 18 sessions, and free for Healthways Silver Sneakers participants. For more information, call 633-4593.

    Young Frankenstein at CHS
    Collins High School will present Young Frankenstein at 7 p.m. Friday at the performing arts center. Tickets for these performances can be purchased at the door for $8 for adults and $3 for students and kids. Nearly 45 students have been working since December onstage and behind the scenes to make this the most unique and entertaining in the school’s history.
