Senior service day will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today to receive parking permits, and get senior portraits, gap and gown information for graduation from Balfour. Junior service day will be 9 a.m. to noon on July 30 to get parking permits and lockers.

    A new six-week series of Shelby Shape Ups meets at 11 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through July 10 at the Shelby County Extension Office. This arthritis foundation approved exercise class helps participants increase strength, improve balance and become more flexible. The class is only $25 for the 18 sessions, and free for Healthways Silver Sneakers participants. For more information, call 633-4593.
