  • Cornerstone visits Washington

A group of about 12 adults and 13 eighth grade students from Shelbyville's Cornerstone Christian Academy visited Washington, D.C., where Congressman Massie gave them a personal tour of the Capitol Building. Because portions of the Capitol were closed for restoration, the Congressman gave the students a special tour that very few ever experience. He brought the group to the speaker's balcony, the private, members-only terrace that overlooks the National Mall and provides one of the rarest views in Washington, D.C.
