Shelby County horses may not have brought home the big prize on Saturday from the World Championship Horse Show – the 5-gaited championship – but overall they did well.
“We didn’t get the grand championship – that was Debbie Foley of Jefferson County – but we led the way,” said Edward. R. “Hoppy” Bennett, owner of Undulata Farm in Shelbyville and trainer of several horses shown in the 8-day run at the Kentucky State Fair.
