Shelby County's Candice Wiley remains in the top five through nine holes in the second round of the Girls' State Golf Tournament at Bowling Green Country Club Wednesday.
Wiley had a chance to make a move after a birdie on No. 7 pushed her to 2-under for the round and 1-under for the tournament, but back-to-back bogeys on Nos. 8 and 9 pushed her back to even for the round and 1-over for the tournament. She finished the front nine tied for fourth.
